An easy and simple recipe made with drumstick leaves which are full of disease preventing nutrients. Drumstick leaves are store houses of iron. Make them a regular feature in your meals. Drumstick leaves curry can be prepared in many ways and this is one of the easiest method which i myself cook in my kitchen.
Ingredients
Drumstick leaves- 4 cups
Grated coconut-
Shallots -3
Garlic-2
Green chilly- 3-4
Turmeric powder-a pinch
Salt- as per taste
Water-little
Oil-1 tsp
Mustard seeds- ½ tsp
Method
• Remove the leaves from the stem and wash thoroughly.
• Grind coconut coarsely with shallots, green chilies , shallots, garlic and turmeric powder.
• Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
• Add the grinded mixture and stir for a minute .
• Add the drumstick leaves and add salt and mix well.
• Cover the pan Cook in low flame till the raw smell goes it take around 5mins .
• Serve hot with meals.
• You could also add egg stir fry into it and it will give a different taste.
