Potato Vada

Think about tea-time or a quick snack break, the main glitch that crosses our mind mostly is to prepare a snack that would go with the easy mood.

Potato Vadas is a good snack for the tea time.Tea time is a very special time for some of us. Sit back, get relaxed and have a cup of tea. Ingredients

Potato :3 (small sized ones)

Maida / All Purpose Flour – 4 spoons

Big onions – 1(chopped)

Green chillies – 1 (chopped)

Coriander leaves – A handful (chopped),

Ginger garlic  paste: 1tsp,

Fennel seeds-1 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp.

Method

  • Cook Potato . Peel the skin and smash it well .
  • In a bowl,add all the  ingredients and mix well.
  • Wet your palms and fingers, then pinch off small balls and flatten them in your palms.
  • Heat oil in a pan  over medium for deep frying .When oil is medium hot dip in each vada and deep  fry them in oil until it turns golden brown.
  • Drain excess oil using perforated spoons and transfer them into  a paper napkin on a plate.

Potato vada is now ready for serving.Serve hot with tea and green chutney /tomato ketch up.
