Ingredients
Cauliflower: 1 (Medium)
For Batter:
Maida – 1/2 cup
Cornstarch – 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Water as needed
For sauce:
Onion:1 (large),
Celery: 1
Capsicum :1
Salt
Sugar
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Chilli Powder ( i used kashmiri for color): 2 tsp,
Soy Sauce – 1.5 tsp
Vinegar – 2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup – 1/4 cup.
Method
- Cook cauliflower in salt nd turmeric, in lots of water nd drain them.
- Dip them in the batter.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry till golden brown.
- Sauce: Heat oil in a pan, add in onion(1 large), celery (1),capsicum (1),along with some salt and sugar.
- Keep cooking till it gets golden brown.
- Add in the ginger garlic paste (1 tbsp)and cook .
- Add Chilli Powder ( i used kashmiri for color) 2 tsp,soy Sauce – 1.5 tsp,vinegar – 2 tsp,tomato Ketchup – 1/4 cup.
- Add around 1.5 cup of water nd bring to a boil.
- Add some leftover batter to thicken the gravy.once thickened add in the fried cauliflower and mix well.
- Garnish with spring onions.
Serve with Chapati,Roti,Poratta,Fried rice and so on..
