Cutlet is a very simple and a very popular snack. It is very easy to make. It is an appetizer, starter as well as a light afternoon snack. Cutlet can be prepared using chicken, mutton, fish as well as with vegetables. It can be kept inside a burger bun and add some tomato sauce and be served as a burger as well .Try this healthy, nutritious and tasty cutlet recipes.
Ingredients
Beef – ½ kg
OInion- 1 big
Ginger -50g
Curry leaves – 1 stread
Bread crumbs- 250 g
Green chilly- 250g
Pepper powder- 20g
Egg – 1
Potato -250g
Oil- 250g
Salt – as per taste
Method
• Cook potatoes and smash it.
• Chop onion, ginger, curry leaves and green chillies into tiny pieces.
• Beat the egg and keep it aside.
• Cut the beef into small pieces and cook it. Mince the meat using chopper or food processor
• Heat oil in a pan and saute finely chopped onion , green chilly, ginger and curry leaves. Add pepper powder
• When it is done add the minsed meat into it and mix well.
• Now add the smashed potatoes into it and mix well. Add salt and mix well. Allow it to cool
• Make small balls and roll into desired shapes.
• Dip each cutlet into the egg and roll with bread crumbs.
• Deep fry in oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce and salad.
