Beef Ularthiyathu/Beef dry Roast

Ingredients
  • Beef - ½ kg ( cut into small pieces)
  • Chilli powder - 2 Tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ½ Tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 Tsp
  • Meat Masala - 1 TBS
  • Coriander powder - 2 TBS
  • Ginger - 2 big pieces
  • Garlic - 1 full
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato- 1
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Coconut pieces - ½ cup
  • Coconut oil -
  • Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Instructions
  1. Clean & drain the water from beef pieces.
  2. Marinate beef with Chilli powder ,Pepper powder,Turmeric powder ,Garam masala ,Meat Masala,Coriander powder,Ginger  &Garlic.
  3. Pressure cook the marinated beef with ¼ cup water for 4-5 whitstles
  4. Once the pressure drops, open the cooker and cook the beef on low flame till the gravy dries completely.
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds & add curry leaves. Saute  chopped onion till it becomes transparent. Add chopped Tomato and saute.
  6. Add the cooked beef & stir until it becomes dark brown colour.
  7. Beef Roast is now ready to serve. Enjoy with Rice,Chapatti,Kappa/Tappioca etc...
