- Cooked rice - 1½ cup
- Lemon juice-from one lemon
- Mustard seeds-1 tsp
- Raw peanuts(optional)-1 tsp
- Chana dal-1 tsp
- Urad dal-1 tsp
- Dry red chilly-2 nos
- Green chilly-1 slited (optional)
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Salt to taste
- Take cooked rice in a bowl and mix it with some salt and juice from ½ lemon.Set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds.Add in chana dal,urad dal,peanuts and lightly roast it.
- Now add in dried red chilly pieces ,green chilly and curry leaves.And add in turmeric powder.Mix well.
- Finally add rice into it and mix all together.
- Add balance lemon juice into it.Adjust the salt.Serve with some pickle.
