Lemon Rice

Ingredients
  • Cooked rice - 1½ cup
  • Lemon juice-from one lemon
  • Mustard seeds-1 tsp
  • Raw peanuts(optional)-1 tsp
  • Chana dal-1 tsp
  • Urad dal-1 tsp
  • Dry red chilly-2 nos
  • Green chilly-1 slited (optional)
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Take cooked rice in a bowl and mix it with some salt and juice from ½ lemon.Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds.Add in chana dal,urad dal,peanuts and lightly roast it.
  3. Now add in dried red chilly pieces ,green chilly and curry leaves.And add in turmeric powder.Mix well.
  4. Finally add rice into it and mix all together.
  5. Add balance lemon juice into it.Adjust the salt.Serve with some pickle.
