Pineapple Keasri Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4-5 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Cup Rava/Semolina
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 1 Cup chopped Pineapple
  • a pinch of Salt
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • Yellow food colour(Optional)
Instructions
  1. Heat 2 Tsp ghee and fry cashews.When its done transfer to a bowl.
  2. Add more ghee if required and fry Semolina/Rava until the rava becomes aromatic.Transfer to a plate.
  3. Heat 3 cups of water in the same pan add chopped pineapple and a pinch of salt.You can also add yellow food colour if using.Let it boil.Mash the pineapples.
  4. Keeping the flame to low ,add the roasted rava and keep on stirring until the moisture is absorbed.
  5. Close and cook for 2 mins or until the rava is cooked .
  6. Add 1 cup of Sugar and mix well.Stir well until sugar dissolves and evenly mixes with rava,Keep stirring until it thickens.Add 2 to 3 Tsp ghee in intervals while stirring until it leaves out pan and combines well.Add the roasted cashews and mix. Serve warm and enjoy !!
