Jam Roll,a light & fluffy sponge filled with jam. This is a very easy & simple dessert recipe.Create a high tea experience at home with these Jam Rolls.

Ingredients
Eggs – 3 nos
Powdered Sugar – 1 cup
All Purpose Flour -1 cup
Vanilla Essence – 2 tsp
Baking powder-1/2 tsp
Warm Water – 2 tblspn
Jam as needed ( I used a mixed strawberry jam)
Icing Sugar -2 tblspn
Method
- Preheat oven.
- Prepare jam roll pan by applying some oil over it, then line it with baking sheet and apply oil on it.
- Beat egg whites till fluffy.
- Take egg yolks in another bowl ,beat well.
- Add powdered sugar and beat well.
- Add in vanilla and warm water and beat till fluffy.
- Sieve in flour and baking powder in to the bowl fold very gently till it is well combined.
- Add beated egg white and fold well.Pour this in prepared pan and spread thinly.
- Bake this for 10 mins or til a toothpick inserted in to it comes out clean.Remove it and let it cool.
- Spread a baking sheet on a table and sprinkle with icing sugar.
- Flip the cake over the sugar.Remove the paper carefully.
- Cover the entire cake with a slightly wet cloth and let it cool completely.
- Spread some jam all over it and carefully roll it.Slice and serve.
