Hey there…..Dont you love baking????Here is  the recipes for Mahagony cake!!!Very simple and easy to follow recipes to bake a simple cake:)

Get all the ingredients at your finger tips and then start.Dont forget to bring all the ingredients to room temperature before you start.Measurement also matters while baking.So be careful with the measurements.And if you have everything ready with you then,Just follow the instructions.

This cake has a subtle coffee flavour.Its very tasty and delicious.I am sure you will love it.

Mahagony cake

Ingredients

200 gm sugar( powdered)

180 gm Maida

180 gm Butter

2 Eggs

3-4 tbs Cocoa

2 tbs Nescafe

100ml water

1 tsp Vinegar

1 tsp Vanilla essence

3/4 tsp Baking soda

1/4 tsp Salt( can be avoided if butter is salted)

 

Method

  • Preheat the Oven to 200 degree C and grease a standard baking tray.
  • Dissolve Cocoa, nescafe and water by boiling .Keep it aside, let it cool down.
  • Beat 2 eggs with hand mixture till soft and fluffy.
  • Mix butter and powdered sugar till smoothens
  • Sieve together Maida,Baking Soda and Salt 3 to 4 times.
  • Now combine together the dry and wet ingredients ie, beaten eggs,butter and sugar and the Maida.
  • To this add the coffee mix and mix well with a wooden/ silicon spatula.
  • Add vinegar and vanilla essence.
  • Pour the Cake Mix into the prepared tray and bake for 30 to 40 mins or until it is done in the Preheat oven to 200 degree C
  • Remove to a wire rack. Let it cool completely.
