Rava Ladoo
Rava ladoo, a quick and easy recipes prepared using Rava/semolina, and grated coconut. It doesn’t require much ingredients and doesn’t take much of your time.You can surely go for this recipes if you don’t want to spent much of your time in the kitchen. Enjoy this sweet treat!!
Ingredients
Rava/ Semolina – 1 cup
Grated coconut- 1 cup
Sugar- 3/4 cup
Seasame- 1/2 cup
Ghee
Raisins- 1/4cup
Chopped cashews-1/4 cup
Milk- 1/4 cup
Method
- Heat 2-3 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast chopped cashews and raisins.
- Now add grated coconut and seasame and stir. Stir for some time 2-3 mins, they dont need to change colour.
- Add sugar according to your taste and continue to stir.
- Transfer the mix into another bowl when the sugar melts and is well coated with the mix.
- Add ghee into the same pan and fry the Rava.
- Add the above prepared mix into this when the colour of rava starts changing and mix well.
- Add milk little by little until we get a consistency enough to make them into balls.
- Turn off fire and allow to cool.Shape the ladoos into round shape or according to your preference.
Sweet and tasty Rava Ladoo is now ready to serve.You can store the ladoos in an air tight container for 2-3 days and also in fridge for 4-5 days.
