I dont know anyone who doesn’t like chocolates.Cakes makes every moment special. Am i rite??? And that too a double dark chocolate cake is simply too special.. Baking a cake for your loved ones may turn the moment even more special.. One cannot think of birthdays, anniversaries and other special moments without a cake.Now a days cakes with customized designs and varying flovours are available at our foot steps with not much of our efforts. But Isn’t it more special if we bake our own cake by putting little love i.e, little effort into it??? What do you think???
I don’t know anybody who doesn’t love baking if it turns successful.A little care and systematically following the recipes, step by step is going to invent a really good baker in you.Get all the ingredients next to your hands and just follow the recipes.I am sure you will love baking a cake by your own.
As the name itself tells, the colour of this cake is dark brown and is very chocolatey. I am sure you are going to be in love with this cake. This is one of my all time recipes.Hope you would try this cake very soon.

Ingredients
Maida -1 3/4 cup
Sugar – 2 cups
Coco powder- 3/4 cup
Baking soda- 2 tsp
Baking powder-1 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Butter milk/ curd/ youhurt- 1 cup
Vegetable oil- 1/2 cup
Egg -2
Egg white – 1
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Hot cofee- 1 cup(3 tsp coffee powder +1 cup water)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degree c
- Greece the cake tin with the flour and Prepare 2 cake tins.
- Make coffee by boiling 1 cup water and 3 tsp coffee powder and keep it aside.Let it cool down.
- Sift together all the dry ingredients.i.e, Maida,sugar,cocoa,baking soda, baking powder and salt and keep it aside .
- In another bowl,combine all the wet ingredients i.e, curd, oil, egg and vanilla essence.
- Add the dry ingredients into this and mix.
- Add coffee to this and mix well
- Bake for 35- 40 mins or until a tooth pick inserted will come out clean.Let the cake cool in the pan for 30 mins then invert the cakes into a wire rack.

Make sure to use sour less thick curd.
Dont over beat after adding maida as over beating may reduces the softness of the cake.
Adding 1 tsp honey will result in a more soft cake.
Remember to beat along one side.
