A Simple and easy recipes with minimum ingredients. Tomato fry is prepared using tomato and onions as main ingredients.This is a very easy to make and well loved recipe. A very good side dish for chapatis and roties.

Ingredients
Tomato – 3
Onion – 3
Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce -1 tbsp
Salt – As required
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds- ½ tbsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Method
- Chop tomatoes and onions
- Add oil to a Kadai and splutter mustard seeds
- Add chopped onions and curry leaves and sauté till they slightly start to brown.
- Mix red chili powder and tomato sauce with the chopped tomatoes
- Add this to the sauté onions
- Add salt & mix well
- Add 2-3 tbsp of water, mix well and close with a lid.
- Cook on simmer for 5 minutes
Tasty and easy tomato fry is now ready. Serve with chapatis,Roti etc.
