Here is a tasty, healthy, nutritious and easy pressure cooker pulao that is made with vegetables like carrot, beans, green peas, paneer or vegetables of your choice. They go perfectly delicious along with Paneer Makani, Gobi Manchurian, chicken curry or just pickle. All it takes is 30 minutes and your vegetable pulao will be ready, So it is very easy for mothers to prepare and pack the kids lunch box. Serve this Pulao for lunch or dinner or pack into your kid’s lunch box.
Here is how you can try it out.
Ingredients
Basmati Rice – 2 Cup
Boiling Water – 4 Cup
Salt – To Taste
Cardamom – 1
Cloves – 2
Cinnamon – 1
Onion – 1/2
Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste – 1 Tsp
Vegetables(Carrot,Beans,Green peas,Paneer) – 1 Cup
Oil/Butter/Ghee – 2 Tbsp
Method
- Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
- Wash and cut the vegetables of your choice into small pieces.
- Heat Oil or butter or ghee in a pressure cooker.
- Add whole masalas and saute for a minute.
- Add ginger garlic green chilli paste and sauté till the raw smell goes.
- Add onion and saute till translucent.
- Add vegetables and saute.
- Add rice and saute for 2 minutes. Add hot water and salt. Mix well. Allow to boil and close the cooker and cook for 1 whistle. Then keep aside and open after 5 minutes
So tasty easy vegetable pulao is ready to serve.
